Tomorrow Belongs to Us: Will Dorian Die? Ryan Huber’s revelations about the rest of the plot

After Nathan, Camille, Emma and Raphael, another character familiar to Tomorrow fans is ours, targeted by a mysterious kidnapper who is terrorizing the streets of Seth during this Tuesday, February 21st episode on TF1.

This is Dorian Curtis, son of Etienne and Benedict. Is the teenager played by Ryan Huber the one who connects all the previous victims? Or is he just another person whose abuser is seeking revenge for an as-yet-unknown reason?

While tomorrow’s episode will be a jam-packed, pivotal one for Dorian and his loved ones, Ryan Huber tells us about the intriguing event – his first major arc since coming to the series – and what’s to come. his character in future episodes. Between his kidnapping, which will lead to an extreme situation, and his closeness with Luna (Paloma Reino).

AlloCiné: You joined the Tomorrow Belongs Us adventure in the summer of 2021. What is your assessment of the series and the year and a half spent in Dorian’s skin?

Ryan Huber: I think the series has made me grow, I’ve learned a lot because of Tomorrow that we own. And my character has evolved a lot over time.

When he arrived, Dorian wanted to stay in Seth, he was tired of the adventurer’s life. He wanted to make real connections, and this new life brought him a girlfriend, Camille, who he’s still with, and real friends like Nathan. It grows out of it all. Until the arch we find on the screen at this moment, which will turn everything upside down.

Dorian has always been presented as a rather sunny and benevolent character. Did you like that when you went through the casting process?

True, we can consider him a little ideal son-in-law (laughs). He doesn’t have many faults, he is always there to help and listen to others. It has this very positive side to it that I obviously liked. But the next episodes will allow us to show a new side of Dorian that we have never seen before. Because so far he has not yet experienced anything very dramatic in his life. But that will change.

This arc is your first big dramatic story in which Dorian is really at the center of things. Were you a little apprehensive before filming or were you just happy to be able to show a new side of Dorian as well as your acting?

A bit of both. I had known about this ark for several months, so I prepared a lot. I worked a lot with coaches, or at home alone with texts. And I had a lot of insomnia over this plot because I was asking myself a lot of questions. “Am I for it? How should I play?”.

At the end, after the scenes were shot, it was even worse because I thought, “Maybe I should have played them better.” It was quite disappointing. But I am very grateful and thank the production for trusting A’s story.

Tomorrow Belongs To Us has just moved into a turbulent new story in which several characters are kidnapped by a mysterious assailant. How about what’s next for your character in this Ark sequel?

There have been several kidnappings in Sete. It started with Nathan, then Camille, Emma and Raphael. That’s why Dorian’s relatives are targeted every time. Dorian will feel threatened and watched.

At the same time, his relationship with Luna will develop. They get closer, they trust each other. And Dorian worries about Luna. He sees that he is not following rehabilitation, he sees that he is not well. So she wants to help him regain his taste for life. It is obvious that there is chemistry between them.

But despite all this, Dorian’s fears are confirmed because he is the kidnapper’s next target. He finds himself in a dangerous and spectacular situation. His father, Etienne, will have to take many risks to save him from this extreme situation.

As if the attacker wants to take revenge for something, he left the words “irresponsible” or “accomplice” to reproach the previous victims for their behavior. Are Dorian and his friends involved in an accident or past drama that we want to pay for?

True, there is a message every time. All the kidnapped characters have a link, that’s obvious. They were not chosen by chance. But I can’t say more.

We also know this Etienne’s past will resurfaceAlong with the return of an old acquaintance, Alex. Are these two plots related?

I can tell that Luna is going to ask Dorian for help, which is going to cause a lot of problems for my character. The second part of the arch will bring back Etienne’s past in relation to this whole story. And this will create a clash between two intrigues that will join.

Is Luna a threat to the Dorian-Camille couple?

When Dorian found out that Camille had lied to him, he felt betrayed. Exploding with anger, we saw his new face. And despite what happened to Camille with her kidnapping, Dorian continues to resent Camille. He doesn’t know if he can forgive her. And the rest of the story will be revealed to you (laughs).

But I think if he finally breaks up with Camille, we’ll find another Dorian. It won’t be the same relationship with Luna if something happens between them. So it all depends on what path the writers choose for Dorian. I don’t really have an answer to all of this yet. Lets see.

We imagine it would be weird for you to tour less if the couple broke up Elisa Ezedin

Yes, we get along very well, our characters have been a couple in the show for almost two years. And it’s funny because when they pull out a spoiler where Camille cheats on Dorian, or my character kisses Luna, something is wrong with us (laughs). I felt that you really betrayed me (laughs). We’re kind of in our daily lives with this series, so the bond between us on and off the set is definitely very strong.

Who are the actors you are closest to on set?

Of course Elissa and Ader, who I travel with a lot. Also Luvia Bachelier, who plays Manon, Dorian’s cousin. And of course, Honorine Magnier and Patrick Guerinaud, my fictional parents, who helped me a lot with this arch. They are incredibly kind to me, full of good advice. It’s precious when you’re a young actor. But there are really many actors that I am close to outside of filming.

Dorian repeated his terminal. Logically, he should have a bachelor’s degree this year. Do you already know what awaits him after graduation?

I also hope that he will pass his bachelor’s degree (laughs). Because last year was a bit unexpected for me too. I haven’t spoken to production yet, but the end of the school year filming will be happening pretty quickly, so I think I’ll have an answer soon.

Have you thought about it yourself? Do you have any future plans for Dorian, what do you want to explore with him after graduation?

Dorian is a pretty intelligent guy, even though he repeated a year there, so I want to bring his intelligence forward, I think it will be the most legit for the future.
