The Boston Strangler thriller has been released on YouTube channel Rotten Tomatoes Trailers. The film was written and directed by Matt Raskin, best known for his role in Crown Heights. Ridley Scott and Margot Robbie are among the film’s producers. It premieres on March 17 on Hulu and Disney+.

Keira Knightley played the title role in Boston Strangler. She appeared in the image of journalist Loretta McLaughlin. In the 60s, she undertook to investigate a series of brutal murders. Loretta was the first to understand that a maniac was operating in Massachusetts.

McLaughlin was a lifestyle journalist. But the threat looming over the city did not leave her indifferent. Together with her colleague Jean Cole, played in the film by Carrie Coon, she got involved in the fight against the killer and the inequality that surrounded the female reporters of those years.

The film is based on real events. The real killer hunted women in Boston between 1962 and 1964. According to official figures, he killed 11 women. However, the actual number of victims may be higher.

Last December, Keira Knightley and her husband, 39-year-old musician James Righton, attended the Chanel perfume show called “Le Grand Numero De Chanel”. Recall that the lovers got married 9 years ago. They married in a chamber ceremony in southern France in 2013. The couple’s first child, daughter Edie, was born in 2015. And in September 2019, they became parents for the second time – the couple had a daughter, Delilah.
