in a new interview Empire In the magazine, the director laughed at how Portman would offer up the mantle of Mighty Thor, his different and expanded version of what fans saw in the first two Tory films.
“You don’t want Natalie to come back and play the same character that comes with science equipment,” he explained. “You know, before Tory flies, she gets down on the ground and kicks, ‘When is she back?’ You want him to be part of the adventure. ”
Thanks in part to Veitit’s humorous style, Portman will also be able to showcase some of his comedic work. “Natalie is a lot of fun in real life. “He’s a little stupid and he has a great sense of humor and I don’t think it was used enough in the early films,” he said.
Whitey also spoke briefly about how, after about eight years, seeing Jane again would be “encouraging” for Thor. “She’s had a completely different life, and then the love of her life comes back on stage and now he’s dressed like you,” noted the director.
