This was the reunion of the cast of ‘Sex Education’ after the BAFTAs

“I cannot be more proud or more in love with each one of these human beings.”

There’s been a little ‘Moordale’ gathering after the BAFTAs, lucky for fans of the Netflix series ‘Sex Education’.

Part of the original cast of the series met at the after party of the ceremony BAFTAs Annual, and the image could not be more adorable.

Asa Butterfield, Aimee Lou Wood, Emma Mackey and Ncuti Gatwa they were involved. The foursome were caught hugging and celebrating. Gatwa shared a capture of the moment on his Instagram accountthrough his Histories, and dedicated a few words to his companions:

I cannot be more proud or more in love with these human beings,” commented the interpreter, who gives life to Eric Effiong. In addition, he admitted that they had “crushed for about 5 minutes“.

This meeting has a bitter taste, since the next season could be the last in which we see the “schoolboys” together.

Gatwa is immersed in several projects – including giving life to the fifteenth version of ‘Doctor Who’, in his new series –, and Mackay confirmed his departure after this fourth premiere. Therefore, the original cast of the series will have to wait for this type of party to meet. Far away will be their long days together on the set of filming.

In a recent interview with Radio Times, Mackey revealed that he would not be in a fifth season, as he had said “goodbye” to his character, Maeve.

Additionally, the actress discussed the possibility of the series ending, saying, “It’s a blessing because It has been a shuttle and it is something that has given us opportunities on many levelsbut it is also something that I want to leave sweetly. Being happy that it exists, protecting it and enjoying the time in which it happened. But yes, I think it has to stop now.”

Mackey will appear less frequently in this fourth batch, since his character has gone to study in the United States.

The new premiere does not have an official release datebut it is expected to be available later this year.

The first three seasons of ‘Sex Education’ are available on Netflix.
