‘The Walking Dead’: The first images of the set of the spin off of Rick and Michonne arrive

Fans of ‘The Walking Dead’ can be happy. A new news about spin off from Rick and Michonne has arrived to brighten your day.

The series on “Richonne” was announced in July 2022 and its main stars, Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, were in charge of breaking the news at the San Diego Comic-Con.

The 6-episode miniseries will bring together Lincoln and Gurira, in the shoes of their characters Rick and Michonne, to close their plot lines once and for all.

In January, Gurira posted three photos on Instagram, with Lincoln and ‘The Walking Dead’ content chief Scott M. Gimple confirming that the series was in pre-production.

Now, The news comes through the official account of ‘The Walking Dead’ on Twitter, where the first images of the filming of the spin off.

In addition to a photograph of Lincoln and Gurira’s hands intertwined, and another of their chairs on set.the post contained the following words: “Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira are back on set! The new chapter of Rick and Michonne’s story has begun…”

Last year, Scott M. Gimple, spoke of his return to spin off and promised fans that “explosive” content was coming, in this new path of the universe of ‘The Walking Dead’.

“These two people have been apart for a long time. They have gone through innumerable experiences and now they meet again. We expect it to be explosive,” he commented at the AMC Networks meeting in September of last year.

In addition to the spin off on “Richonne”, the Universe of ‘The Walking Dead’ plans to expand even more. AMC is also developing a series about Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and deny (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), under the title: Dead City. Daryl Dixon’s solo story (Norman Reedus), which will take the character to Europe, is also in production.
