Ethan and Axel continue their investigation

Axel does not answer Ethan’s calls during breakfast. Constance and Emmanuel advise him to stay away, but their nephew doesn’t want to let his best friend down.

At the institute, Teissier calls Ethan into his office to offer him an internship at Auguste Armand’s restaurant in New York. She again states that he is not her father and that he offers her an incredible chance to advance. Ethan feels he has no choice but to agree. Tessier then promises not to tell Axel anything.

But Ethan doesn’t listen to him. She immediately tells her best friend about it, stressing that Teissier would never have made such an offer to her if he knew she was on drugs. Axel admits to being a little confused. Ethan suggests she take the screening test again in front of him, with Solal as a witness, to prove she’s clean.

The three boys were united. So Ethan reran the test using equipment purchased online. The result is returned as negative. Axel apologizes for not trusting him. Meanwhile, Solal wonders about Constance’s motives. He suggests to his friends that they question another person who was present at the time and might know some family secrets: Theo.

So Axel and Ethan go to see him to share their suspicions and discoveries. But Theo replies that there’s no way his father lied to his mother in April 2000, because that’s when they lost their son, who was supposed to be named Simon, and the ordeal brought them together more than ever. He learned this news with his sister Charlene two years ago. If Axel is worried, Ethan thinks it doesn’t prove anything.

In the middle of a cocktail party, Axel confronts his aunt about her lie about Ethan’s doping. But Emmanuel interrupts them in time. Constance then suggests that her husband get rid of all the evidence they have because Axel and Ethan clearly haven’t stopped digging. Emmanuel takes care of it himself.

Constance returns home to find the hidden box, unaware that Axel is watching. He retrieves the letter, which he rereads with emotion before tearing it up and throwing it in the trash. As he leaves, Axel picks up each piece and returns it to Ethan.

Together they form a letter. This is an unsigned email sent in May 2000, in which a man thanks Constance and Emmanuel for the child they didn’t want to raise, but who he recovered, and promises that he won’t miss a thing. Axel then assumes that Ethan is none other than Simon…

In the 3rd year they pass the exam

It’s the third year exam day. Chef Landiras tells them the test subject: Millefeuille low-temperature beef must be cooked in three hours. If Elliot, Judy, Hortense, Lionel and Mehdi are happy, time remains very tight.

During the testing, Landiras does not shy away from putting pressure on students, in particular reminding them that those who do not have an average will be dismissed from the institute.

At the end of the test, Teissier comes to taste the students’ dishes without comment. When he leaves without a word, the students ask for notes. The director replies that he needs time to think about it.

Back in his office, Teissier reassures Miriel and announces that no third years will be fired. However, he has not yet asked interested students to teach them. Indeed, if he admits to them that he was amazed at their plates, he suspects that they have slacked off and dropped out of school at a mediocre level. As always, Miriel disagrees with his methods.

Amber and Vic set a trap for Tom

In class, Amber pairs up with Tom. Under Vicki’s amused gaze, she does not hesitate to openly flirt with him. Seeing that she is unresponsive, he suspects that she has a lover. But when he denies it, she returns to the attack and offers to meet that evening in the common room. Tommy agreed after noticing the flirting between Amber and Vic.

Later, at CDI, Amber is convinced that Tom charmed himself so he wouldn’t be grilled. Vicki, on the other hand, finds it quite convincing. In turn, Tom tells Billy that Vic and Amber set him up. Bill then suggests a sprinkler game.

In the evening, in the student lounge, Amber flirts with Tom under the watchful eyes of Vicki and Bill. He is initially indifferent until Amber and Tom are about to kiss. Billy stops them and tells everyone that Tom is having an affair with him. The latter is admired. The pair kiss in front of Vicki and Amber, who are happy for them.
