Corinthians and Santos will be opponents this Sunday, in a duel valid for the 11th round of the Paulista Championship. However, off the field, the teams have united and will carry out a special action to raise funds to help the victims of the rains on the coast of São Paulo.

“Sport Club Corinthians Paulista and Santos Futebol Clube have joined forces in an initiative to help the victims of the rains that have hit the coast of the state of São Paulo in recent days,” Corinthians posted on its social networks.

A special union symbol patch will be printed on the shirts of the athletes of both teams. The uniforms of the holders of the duel, which will be autographed by the respective players, will be auctioned by the Play For a Cause website. Thus, all the money raised will go to the victims of the disaster.

The auction will start as soon as the game starts and will continue until March 9th. The offer starts at $800.

The Alvinegro Classic takes place at 16:00 (Brasilia time) this Sunday, in Vila Belmiro, Santos.
