When it came out, Chris Sanders’ The Call of the Forest had many viewers reacting to its dog in computer graphics. However, the film, which brings together Harrison Ford and Omar Sy, does not simply resort to digital effects. It’s a real actor, Terry Notary (Square), who plays the animal before replacing it with animation.
