One of the best series of the 90s was full of inconsistencies!

The 1993-1999 CBS series Une Nanny d’enfer, starring actor Fran Drescher, enjoys cult status that continues nearly a quarter of a century after its end. A very nice program that had the distinction of being full of many inconsistencies.

Especially bad for Nanny was the age of Margaret, Brighton and Grace Maxwell, the series’ three children. If you consider that a season equals a year, then they were indeed growing…faster than they should have been!

Little Grace, played onscreen by Madeline Zima, is six years old at the beginning of the series, but ten years old in season 3. Another oddity for Brighton, played by Benjamin Salisbury, the Nanny from Hell for the only first season. , goes from ten to twelve years.

As for the youngest of the siblings, Maggie, played by Nicole Tom, she’s no slouch in the age mismatch department. In the first episode, the character is 14 years old. But before Season 5 ends and Season 6 begins, he goes from 18 to… 21! For what ? We may never know…
