Last January, Pix received the new rules established by the Central Bank. The changes aim to improve the daily life of users and also to maintain the same level of security.
But how can these new rules affect small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which have welcomed Pix with open arms and adopted it on a large scale? To get this answer, we consulted Paulo Castro, CEO and co-founder of Contbank, a fintech specializing in financial and credit products for SMEs.
Night
“Now banks can decide whether or not to offer a different nightly personalization so that the customer can request a lower limit for their transactions. Previously, the allowed time was between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am, but banks can change it between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am,” says Castro.
Pix Loot and Pix Change
“The limit value for withdrawing money via Pix Saque and Pix Troco has also changed. Now, the limit during the day is R$3,000 and at night it is R$1,000.”
New limit management
“Another great news is that banks will be able to make limit management functions available to their customers. Through it it will be possible to make requests to increase and reduce the established limits. In addition, it will also be possible to establish a specific limit for receiving accounts and users,” concludes Castro.
