‘Doctor Strange 3’: What do we know about a possible new installment?

Have you been wanting more Multiverse after this movie?

Now that ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ has arrived in theaters, with the box office of the first weekend and seen the post-credits scenes, there are more ballots to have a ‘Doctor Strange 3’ soon.

The new installment has set up a potentially very exciting focus for a third film. What can we see in the new movie? Will Strange pose a threat to the multiverse, as the Illuminati intended? Who will we have in this new installment?

Is it possible to have a third party? Marvel has so far kept quiet about any movies beyond the already announced Phase 4 ones. Still, while benedict cumberbatch is ready to return, there’s no reason why Marvel shouldn’t greenlight Doctor Strange 3. However, it is possible that the studio will take its time to ensure that there is a solid story before announcing another installment.

    ‘Doctor Strange 3’: Cast

Obviously, any Doctor Strange 3 movie will see Cumberbatch return. Also, it is a certainty that Benedict Wong he would also return as the Sorcerer Supreme, Wong. With a larger role in ‘Doctor Strange 2,’ it’s entirely possible that the Christine Palmer of Rachel McAdams return to aid Doctor Strange once more, as does his new sidekick, America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez). Also, the Mordo played by Chiwetel Ejiofor could return, either the Illuminati version or the version we saw in the 2016 movie. Doctor Strange 2’s mid-credits scene also confirmed a new character from the comics who will finally make her MCU debut: Clea, played by Charlize Theron.

    ‘Doctor Strange’: Synopsis

The scene of the intermediate credits of the film is an indicator of the scenario that could be seen in ‘Doctor Strange 3’. As Clea explains, Strange’s actions in the sequel have created an incursion; that is, two universes have collided. In the comics, after the first raid occurred, other universes rushed in to fill the void left by the universe that had ceased to exist. This created a chain reaction of raids that led to the entire multiverse collapsing in on itself. This may be why Clea has gone looking for Doctor Strange.

Plus, there’s also the lingering question of what Mordo has been up to in the MCU since we saw ‘Doctor Strange’ six years ago. At some point Mordo might return, especially now that the good Doctor Strange has made his foray into the Darkhold. Will we see that Mordo in the third installment?

    ‘Doctos Strange 3’: Release date

Although we liked ‘in the Multiverse of Madness’ a lot, we must be aware that it would be a long time to see a third part. In the event that ‘Doctor Strange 3’ is launched, it will take years to return to theaters. And we must bear in mind that between the first and second part more than five years have passed.

For now, Marvel already has the release dates of its films planned until the end of 2023. There are currently films in development, such as ‘Fantastic 4’, ‘Blade’ and ‘Captain America 4’, which do not yet have dates. set. Even if Marvel is already working on Doctor Strange 3, audiences shouldn’t expect to see it in theaters before the end of 2024, though it’s more likely to be 2025 or 2026 when it opens. Patience, the multiverse can wait.
