Chapter 1×07 of ‘The Last of Us’ has been a trip to ellie’s pastand he has revealed to us what the months were like before his meeting with Joel in the Boston quarantine zone, his training at the FEDRA military school and his first love: Riley.

In the episode of the HBO series, titled ‘left behind‘, we see how the two teenagers escape at night from the academy to spend a magical night at the mall… Which ends quite badly. The comic published by Dark Horse was translated by Planet as ‘The Last of Us: American Dreams’, but today it is difficult to get hold of the Spanish edition. It would not be unusual for the publisher to reissue it, taking advantage of the success of the HBO series. But until then, as long as you know a little English, the original language version available on Amazon will be quite easy for you to understand.

In the comic pages we will discover details and characters that do not appear in the episode, such as Winston, Riley’s friend who guards the mall, or Marlene, the leader of the Fireflies that we could see in the first chapters of ‘The Last of Us’.

Marlene herself surprises Ellie in the last chapter of the comic with an emotional revelation. The resistance leader met Ellie’s mother, Anna, and promised her that he would watch over her and protect her. Before saying goodbye to her, she even gives him a knife that was owned by her mother.
