Like any Marvel feature film worthy of the name, Ant-Man and the Wasp, the 20th MCU film directed by Peyton Reed and airing tonight on TF1, is full of little details that even the most observant viewers can find amusing when is watching. The new adventure of Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne.

However, some clues are much more difficult than others, and sometimes you need to use a good magnifying glass and a lynx eye to find them.

What we’re interested in today is exactly 33 minutes and 20 seconds into the feature film, the sequence where the characters call Professor Bill Foster, played by Laurence Fishburne, to visit the university where he teaches quantum physics.

While this famous scientist is lecturing to an amphitheater full of students, I suggest you pay attention to the large blackboard behind him and carefully examine each inscription. You will see the word “Matrix” written to the left of the character.

After noticing this small detail, it’s hard not to think about the most famous feature film of Laurence Fishburne’s career: the memorable Matrix, directed by Wachowski in 1999 and in which the actor played the unforgettable Morpheus.

Was that little caption put there on purpose, hoping for fun fans to notice? Is this just a coincidence? We prefer to choose the first solution.
