An app driver purposely hit a military police vehicle while trying to escape an attempt theft comes from kidnapping In San Bernardo do Campo, at ABC Paulista. The case took place in a service station on the night of Thursday 23, in the Paulicéia district.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security of the State of São Paulo (SSP), the victim was detected by two men, aged 32 and 39, during the requested journey. They were arrested in the act for theft.
Military police were refueling the car when they were surprised by the vehicle with three occupants. “At that moment, the victim, an app driver, reported that he had been stolen by the two men inside the car,” the SSP said.

According to the driver, the perpetrators would have asked for a lift and, while boarding, would have announced the attack using a pistol and held him hostage.
The two tried to escape but were caught. “The victim’s mobile phone and the amount of R$ 141 were found with them,” said the secretary. The personal belongings were handed over to the person in charge. There was no bank transfer.
A replica of a firearm was found inside the car and seized. The criminals were arrested and sent to the Police Headquarters, at the disposal of the Justice.
The case was registered as theft at the 2nd DP of São Bernardo do Campo.
