Where to watch Blue Lock anime

Blue Lock is available on Crunchyroll. The episodes can be watched by premium users of the streaming service, with the option of original audio in Japanese or dubbed in Brazilian Portuguese.

What does Blue Block mean?

Blue Lock is the name of a prison-like institution that keeps around 300 young footballers isolated from society. These guys are put through grueling training routines to become the best players in the world.

Led by coach Ego Jinpachi, Blue Lock’s mission is to “destroy mediocre Japanese football.”

The story takes place shortly after Japan’s elimination from the 2018 World Cup, leading the Japan Football Federation to initiate a selection program for high school players to prepare for the 2022 edition of the competition.

Isagi Youichi, a forward, receives an invitation to join the program shortly after his team loses the national championship. At that time, Youichi made a pass to a less skilled teammate – who missed the shot – and missed the opportunity to score a comeback.

Who is the best Blue Lock player?

Blue Lock has several experienced players, including protagonist Isagi Youichi. However, the institute has athletes with enormous potential and unusual physical abilities. Some of them are Rin Itoshi, Aryu Jyubei and Noel Noa.

There is no objective way to choose the best Blue Lock player. However, there is one player who stands out among the others who have appeared in the anime so far: Sae Itoshi.

Sae Itoshi is a soccer prodigy, known as the best player in Japan. Sae is also a member of New Generation World 11, as well as the Royale youth team, a fictional team inspired by Real Madrid. Sae is quite arrogant and has a cold game that is hard to predict. His offensive style is precise, fast and powerful.
