App driver collides with PM car to escape kidnapping; video

An app driver crashed into a military police vehicle in São Bernardo do Campo, ABC Paulista region, to call for help and try to escape an attempted kidnapping (see video below). Two men, aged 32 and 39, were arrested in the act for robbery.

The case occurred last Thursday night, 23, in the Paulicéia neighborhood. According to the Civil Police informed the Earth, military police were refueling the vehicle when a vehicle with three occupants collided with the side of the vehicle. On the occasion, the victim, driver of the app, reported that she had been robbed by the two men inside the car.

According to the driver reported to the police, the perpetrators would have asked for a ride and, during boarding, would have announced the robbery with the use of a weapon and would have taken him hostage.

The two tried to escape but were caught. The victim’s mobile phone and the amount of R $ 141 were found with them. The recovered telephone set and the money were handed over to the driver. According to the police, there was no bank transfer.

Furthermore, a simulacrum of a firearm was identified and seized inside the car. The men were arrested and taken to the police station, where they were arrested.

The case was registered as theft at the 2nd DP of São Bernardo do Campo.
