Boeing becomes a luxury “hotel” with panoramic views and daily rates of R$ 36,000

A Boeing 737 plane has been transformed into a kind of luxury hotel in Bali to offer sophistication, panoramic views and “wow” for daily rates starting from R$ 7,000

Have you heard of Private Jet Villa? NO? He is one Boeing aircraft 737 which, after being decommissioned, was dismantled, transported to the top of a cliff, about 150 meters above sea level, and transformed into a luxury hotel. Or rather: in a luxury accommodation, since it has only two bedrooms with wardrobes, a living room, a glass door and a huge bathroom inside.

In charge of the project, which will open in April 2023 in the Nyang Nyang beach area of Bali, Indonesia, is the designer Felix Demin, owner of the Bubble Hotel, also located in Bali. He revealed to CNN that he bought the Boeing 737 in 2021 for personal use, but gave up taking it to the skies and decided to transform it into “something unique”.

For this reason, the entrepreneur has taken great care of the interior and exterior finishes of the aircraft, now a luxury accommodation. In addition to the aforementioned interiors, the Private Jet Villa will also offer a deck with a fireplace, a swimming pool and an external helipad.

According to the entrepreneur, the space has attracted people’s attention. And in the most unusual ways.

The entrepreneur revealed that on one occasion he had already seen hundreds of people sitting on one of the wings of the Boeing, and that the place had also been chosen as a landing “target” by a parachutist.

The cheapest daily rates will cost R $ 36 thousand

If you’re interested in learning about the Boeing that has become a luxury cliff-top hotel, know that staying there won’t be cheap. According to Private Jet Villa’s official website, daily rates start at US$7,000 (R$36,000 at current rates).

According to the entrepreneur, the investment will be worth it, as sunbeds, an outdoor lounge and many other attractions will also be offered to local guests. The bathroom which now occupies the place of the cockpit, for example, offers a view of the sea. All so that guests can experience what Demin called “the wow effect” during every second of their stay.

“Everything was done with the sole aim of getting exactly the originally intended image,” he concluded.
