The first pictures of John Wick were shown at CinemaCon: Chapter 4. Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelsky explained that the purpose of their new film is to “draw” John.
The director explains:We were trying to find new ways to get John Wick. This is where the action scenes come from. We look at how to torment him and then we plan the scenes. “
The first stuntman, stunt coordinator, and double for Keanu Reeves at Point Break, and especially in The Matrix Saga, Chad Stahelsky moved to direct with David Leach in 2014 for the first John Wick, and then filmed the following works alone.
They have been friends with Keanu Reeves for many years, with two men working together to create choreographies of battle scenes, something Reeves mostly does himself. Keanu Reeves explained to the THR microphone:For this movie I have suggested a few scenes like the one where Johnny rides a horse in the desert. “

The announcement was followed by action scenes where Keanu Reeves rides a horse in the desert, the killer crushes himself and continues to chase.
Keanu Reeves said: “We play movies one by oneFor his part, Stahelsky explained:We think of movies chapter by chapter. As authors, we write ourselves, think, and then write ourselves.“

So the two men did not talk about the sequel, but we know that John Vick: Chapter 4 will not be the last part, as the fifth (and last?) Film has already been announced. In August 2020, Lionsgate CEO John Fellheimer also stated:Hopefully we will shoot John Wick 4 and 5 in a row (…) “
Filming for John Wick 4 ended in October 2021, before filming was postponed to February last year. In addition to Tokyo and New York, scenes from the film were also shot in Paris, in the Montmartre district.
Saga has already grossed $ 579 million at the worldwide box office. John Wick 4, titled John Wick: Hagakure (meaning “Shadow of the Leaves”) will be released in our theaters on March 22, 2023. The film will continue directly to where the parabola ended.
