model body Abby Choi, 28, was found last Friday (24) quartered, boiled and stored in a refrigerator in Tai Po, Hong Kong. According to police, a slicer, an electric saw and some of the victim’s clothing were also at the scene.
According to public broadcaster RTHK, Choi’s ex-husband, Alex Kwong28 years old, his brother Anthony31 years old, and his father, Kwong Kau, 65, are accused of the brutal murder. Alex’s mother, jenny li63 years old, he is accused of interrupting the work of justice.
All were arrested and bail was denied on Monday (27). However, they have yet to appeal. In addition to her ex-husband and her family, a fifth suspect, aged 47, was also arrested on Sunday (26) in connection with the case.
Investigators also identified other remains of the model in a large pot of soup on Sunday, including a skull, ribs and hair, according to CNN. Other parts of Choi’s body, such as his torso and hands, have yet to be found.
Abby was reported missing on Tuesday (21), after failing to show up to pick up the baby she had with her ex-husband. Model, influencer and socialite, Choi attended this year’s Paris Fashion Week and was recently on the cover of L’Officiel Monaco magazine.
