For his part, the son of Sylvester Stallone in real life after his acting in “Rocky V” was not much interested in appearing in front of the screen and preferred to devote his life to becoming a director.

Born on May 5, 1976, Sage was the first child born to Stallone and his ex-wife Sasha Czack. He studied at Montclair College School in California and later studied art and film for a year at a university in North Carolina.

However, his life was not perfect, in 1985 his parents’ divorce affected him greatly and in 1996 he admitted that his father’s stardom always kept him away, apart from being constantly bullied at school.

Although he starred in 1993’s ‘The Evil Inside Me’ and after ‘Rocky V’ shared the set with his dad again in 1994’s ‘Demolition Man’ and 1996’s ‘Daylight’, he didn’t want to be a small version of himself . dad. “Sly.”

In 1996 Sylvester Stallone told People magazine that the two were very different, even his son wanted to stay away from the gym as much as possible.

“Sage (and I) are completely different. He avoids the gym like the plague and is interested in abstract and artistic films. He’s put himself in a position where he’ll never have to be compared to me.”

So Sage in 1996 co-founded with editor Bob Murawski a film preservation company called Grindhouse Releasing, with which they preserved, digitally restored and distributed cult films.

His directorial debut was in 2006 with the drama ‘Vic’, which won an award at the Boston Film Festival. Because of his work at Grindhouse Releasing he turned down a reprise of Robert Balboa in the 2006 film.

However, Sage Stallone died at the age of 36 in July 2012, inside his home in Studio City, Los Angeles. His autopsy showed that the cause of death was coronary artery disease, caused by atherosclerosis.

After his death, Sylvester Stallone told CNN in July 2012 that he was devastated and asked to avoid speculation about his son’s drug use because drugs had been found in his home.

“Because when a father loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore, I am asking people to respect the memory of my wonderfully talented son and feel compassion for his beloved mother Sasha, because this painful loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I humbly ask everyone to leave my son’s memory and soul in peace.”

George Brownstein, an attorney and friend of Sage’s, revealed to People in 2012 that Stallone’s son always saw his father and at the time of his death had only one photo hanging on his walls, one of him at age 14 with Sylvester.
