TF1 will begin airing Avenir this Monday, February 27 at 9.10pm, a Kev Adams-directed series that combines thriller, sci-fi and comedy. For the occasion, the comedian portrays Elliot, a thirty-year-old man who one evening discovers, thanks to a computer glitch, that he can communicate with his 20-year-old self.
Together, they will do everything to take control of their lives and try to achieve their dreams. But they quickly realize that playing with the past can have serious consequences for the present…
Kev Adams and the Twins never played together
In Avenir, the younger version of Elliott is played by Maddie and Sohel Meftah, twins who get their first on-camera role here. And in this original story of leaps and bounds between past and present, Little and Big Elliott never cross paths.
But if Kev Adams and the royal twins didn’t answer each other, the comedian still wanted to give them some advice to make the resemblance between them as perfect as possible.
“We interpreted some of our attitudes or gestures to emphasize our similarities“, Kev Adams confided in an interview available on TF1’s website. “I was skeptical from the beginning and in the end I found the result amazing. Works well. we believe!“.
5 star cast
The 6-episode Avenir was directed by Frank Belloc, who notably directed Happy Nous Year, and written by Dave Cohen, Frank Belloc, Elodie Hesme and Kev Adams.
In terms of casting, the fantastic series was an opportunity for an actor to answer a famous actor’s host. “I’m a big fan Guillaume de TonquedecfromEric Elmosnino and Natacha Lindinger,” Kev Adams explained to TF1.
“It is a source of great pride to benefit from this very prestigious actor, making the movies pale. It was a wonderful opportunity to return to television under his leadership and surrounded by such a high-quality cast.“
