On February 17, Netflix released season 2 of Braqueurs, a French action series that takes us behind the scenes of the Antwerp mafia. In this new episode, Mehdi (Sami Bouajila), Liana (Tracy Gotoas) and Tony (Samuel Jouy) must face a powerful new enemy, camped by Joaquim de Almeida, who will try to take control of the port of Antwerp.
This bloodthirsty character forces three friends to join forces with a former enemy who has also lost everything and who is willing to do anything for revenge.
As with the first season, these six new episodes, still directed by Julien Leclerc and Hamid Hlioua, met with immediate success and ranked first among the most watched series on Netflix.
And with his last bucket still bloodthirsty, fans of the series can’t wait for season 3. Unfortunately, subscribers to the streaming platform will have to be patient as Netflix has yet to order a third salvo of episodes.
Therefore, the production teams will have to wait for the green light before they can start writing a possible season 3. The American platform is really waiting to see how the series will develop internationally. One thing is for sure, if there is going to be a season 3, we will have to wait a few months to find out.
