After Sylvester Stallone in the hilarious Tulsa King, another action idol of the 80s is moving into the world of TV series. Coming to Netflix next May, Arnold Schwarzenegger will definitely star in Fubar, a series that the former California governor described as a “True Lies” action comedy.
Created by Nick Santora (Scorpio), Fubar follows the adventures of Luca (Schwarz) and his daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro), both CIA agents right under each other’s noses. Their secret is finally revealed as a dangerous mission forces them to team up for the first time in their careers.
This Netflix production sees Arnold Schwarzenegger take on his first starring role as a series actor at the age of 75. In the past, the former bodybuilding champion has appeared in episodes of hit series such as The Streets of San Francisco and My Uncle Charlie, as well as an episode of Tales from the Crypt, which he realized himself.
While waiting for the trailer, remember that the Fubar series will be offered exclusively on Netflix during the month of May.
