The Ted Lasso comedy series from Jason Sudeikis (who also co-created the show) will return for a third season on AppleTV+ on March 15.
Ted Lasso follows the adventures of a fictional AFC Richmond football team coached by a coach determined to make up for his lack of experience in a sport he is unfamiliar with with unwavering optimism. In this 3rd season, the team will play against outsiders in the Premier League in the first division of the English Championship.
From the beginning, the series was created for only three seasons. Still, due to the show’s success, Jason Sudeikis himself has hinted that additional seasons may eventually see the light of day. This season 3 is not presented on AppleTV + as the last series.
In addition to the special enthusiasm of the public and critics, remember that the Ted Lasso series has been awarded many prestigious prizes in recent years, including two Emmy Awards for the best comedy series, but also awards for its performers Jason Sudeikis and Brett Goldstein, crowned with an Emmy and a Golden Globe.
