Considering HBO Max had already announced a hike in the US, it was a matter of time before Brazil made the list. This is the first time the service has been subject to a monthly rate adjustment since it launched here in May 2021.

Warner changes strategy on the merger of HBO Max and Discovery +
After much speculation about the merger between HBO Max and Discovery +, Warner Bros. has decided to change its plans on the matter in the USA (in Brazil the union is maintained).
Information released by The Wall Street Journal indicate that Warner continues with the decision to launch a new stream in 2023 (should be called Max). However, Discovery+ will remain available in the United States and can be signed individually, as is currently the case in Brazil.
