Universal Pictures has changed the release date of Super Mario Bros. The Movie in several countries around the world, and while the film continues to release in early April in most countries, there have been changes in over 60 markets, including the United States.
In Brazil, the film was scheduled for a March 30 release until earlier this month, when the release was pushed back to April 6. Now, Universal Pictures announced that the release of Super Mario Bros. The Movie in the US and 60 other markets it was brought forward from April 7 to April 5.
However, the date of the premiere in Brazil remains scheduled for April 6th. The official profiles of Universal Pictures Brasil on social networks confirmed the date of the premiere in the country this Tuesday (28).

This is yet another change to the film’s release schedule, which was initially slated for release from December 2022 to April of this year. Universal Pictures has not disclosed the reason for the changes to the film’s release dates. Although the launch in various parts of the world has been modified, the launch in Japan continues in late April, the 28th.
Despite the changes in the film’s release in various countries around the world, the release of a final trailer for Super Mario Bros. The Movie continues with the release scheduled for March 9th.
