Flávio Augusto da Silva has sold a villa in the USA for R$ 190 million; businessman diversifies investments with real estate and sports
Founder of the Wise Up network of language schools, businessman Flávio Augusto da Silva has sold a house in Orlando, Florida, USA, for approximately R$190 million, in what would have been the largest transaction of a house single family home never built in central Florida. This is the third home recently sold in the United States.
Construction was completed in 2019, on land acquired in 2015, for approximately R$8.6 million. The property has a basketball court, a soccer field, two bowling alleys, a semi-Olympic swimming pool and 3,500 meters of built-up area for your family.
The property has been sold to another Brazilian
The buyer is a Brazilian whose name is kept secret. According to Flávio Augusto, the main reason for the sale was the excellent proposal, proactively made by a person in his relationship cycle.

Over the past 28 years, Flávio Augusto has lived in seven countries, spending an average of 2.5 years in each house. The entrepreneur has been working from home for 14 years, as have 90% of Wiser Educação’s employees. He also intends to live in two more countries in the coming years, one in the Caribbean and the other in Asia.
The businessman has already invested in sports and real estate in the United States
Author of the best-selling “Geração de Valor” trilogy, the same name that appears on his social media, entrepreneur Flávio Augusto da Silva founded the WiseUp network in 1995 and sold it in 2013 for R$877 million. Also in 2013, Silva began investing in the United States with the purchase of the Orlando City soccer team, for R$ 240 million.
The team was sold in 2021 – although the amounts were not disclosed, Sportico’s website estimated the amount to have been R$2.2 billion. The WiseUp brand was repurchased in 2015, two years and ten months after the sale, for less than half the sale price.
Currently, Flávio Augusto is the controller of Wiser, a holding company that, in addition to Wise Up, consists of several employability-focused educational edtechs, which earned BRL 501 million in 2022.
