Creed 3 hits theaters on March 1, 2023, directed by Michael B. Jordan himself. The actor succeeds Ryan Coogler and Steven Keple in taking over the reins of the saga that started in 2015.

This is Jordan’s first feature film, and he was tasked with camping on Adonis’s Creed for the third time, escaping the aura of Sylvester Stallone, who did not reprise his role as Rocky.

In November 2021, his athletic trainer, Corey Calliet, shared a video of the actor working out on Instagram, already showing impressive muscles, especially his biceps. The actor has managed to sculpt a body worthy of the high-level athlete he has to portray.

In order to be believable as a sharp boxer, Jordan already followed a sharp program for previous films. With the rhythm of training 6 days a week, he managed to achieve the goal by gaining 15 kilograms of muscle mass. A shocking physical transformation for the actor, who is now 36 years old.

For Creed 3, Michael B. Jordan resumes this grueling workout 6 days a week for 4 months before the shoot, two 1 hour 30 minute sessions per day. In order for him to have a chiseled stomach, Corey Calliet multiplied the exercises while creating a specific diet.

“Michael is in better shape than ever in this third opus, he’s more massive and punchy”emphasizes the coach. “The body does not change without proper nutrition”Kaliet explains.

Michael followed a strict diet to keep himself energized throughout the day. To succeed in sculpting the body of a top-level boxer, here’s what an actor should eat during the day.

Breakfast: ground turkey or turkey sausage with eggs, rice and fruit

Snacks: protein shake or fruit

Lunch: ground turkey or chicken with rice and vegetables

Dinner: ground turkey or chicken with rice and vegetables

To ensure that Michael B. Jordan continues to follow his diet and exercises, Cory Calliet accompanied him during the filming. And on the exercise side, his trainer hasn’t given him a break, as he’s detailed in his Men’s Health columns.

1. Rope: 3 minutes

2. Kettlebell swing: 8 repetitions

3. Goblet Squats: 8 reps

4. Pull-ups: 15 repetitions

5. Squats: 20 repetitions

In order to complete the training, it is necessary to perform this circuit four times in addition to the boxing sessions.
