Queen: Brian May Wants Bohemian Rhapsody Sequel: ‘It’s Tempting’

Queen guitarist Brian May would like to see Bohemian Rhapsody actors reprise their roles

Brian Mayguitarist of Queen and producer of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), admitted that he is in talks for a sequel to the film. In an interview with the website Daily Starthe musician stated that there is a lot of history of the band to be told.

“We’ve been talking about it. I feel proud of the movie, and the people who played us were just phenomenal,” he said. May I would like to see the cast of the first film, including Rami Malekthat lived Freddie Mercuryreturning for the new feature film: “It’s tempting to do sequels. It’s worth working with these guys again.”

Furthermore, Bohemian Rhapsody does not show details of what happens after the iconic concert at Live Aid: “The climax is in the Live Aidand it is implied that Freddie begins to deal with AIDS, but a lot has happened between the end of the film and the end of the glory days of Queen.”

Production accompanies the band since its formation, going through the first contract with a record company and the composition of the first two albums, which raised the Queen to international success. Although all members were represented with their questions exposed, May believe that mercury was the big star of Bohemian Rhapsody:

Of course we were represented in the movie because we’re a group, but really it was about Freddie. And I think we represented him well.
