The new flagship of John Wick 4 is: Donnie Yen, the Chinese action movie star who notably starred in the Ip Man saga and is no stranger to American blockbusters as we saw him in Rogue One, xXx 3 or even Mulan .
In John Wick 4, Donnie Yen plays Kane, a blind assassin torn between his duties at the High Table (a council that oversees the world’s largest criminal organizations) and his friendship with an assassin played by Keanu Reeves since 2014.
Dressed in a black suit and white shirt, sunglasses perched on his nose, the character doesn’t lack for style, but it wasn’t quite the same in the script.
“His was Shang or Chang”– he explains in the interview QG. “Why does he always have to be called Shang or Chang? Why can’t it have a normal name? Why does it have to be so general?
