Streaming service Netflix has released the trailer for the animated series “Agent Elvis”. The widow of cult musician Elvis Presley Priscilla worked on the creation of the show. The premiere of the project is scheduled for March 17. The show will tell in ten episodes about the adventures of the “King of Rock and Roll” and his double life as an intelligence agent.

The main character of the animated series, that is, Elvis Presley, will be voiced by Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, best known for the films Interstellar and Dallas Buyers Club. The creators of the project were Priscilla Presley and John Eddy. The latter also became showrunner for “Agent Elvis” along with Mike Arnold. The series was produced by McConaughey, Presley, Kevin Noel, Fletcher Mules, Serani Manoojian and others.

The show was developed by Titmouse. The characters in Agent Elvis were designed by Robert Valley and their costumes were designed by John Varvatos. The music for the project was written by Tyler Bates and Timothy Williams.

Elvis Presley has previously been the subject of a biopic starring Austin Butler. The project received a BAFTA, as well as several Oscar nominations. In addition, it became the second highest-grossing biopic about the musician. Also last year there was information that the production of a new film about Presley and Priscilla began. It stars Kaylee Spaeny (Meir of Easttown) and Jacob Elordi (Euphoria). Sofia Coppola, best known for The Virgin Suicides and Marie Antoinette, will direct and write. According to insiders, she has been planning the creation of this film for a long time, and it should become a kind of continuation of her tape “The Last Drop”.

Recall that in January of this year, at the age of 54, the only daughter of Priscilla and Elvis, Lisa Marie Presley, died.
