Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Friday March 3, 2023 Episode Summary [SPOILERS]

Christian Dupuy Alix and Helena

A Midi Libre intern goes to the city’s archives to find out about the civil status of the 1900s. After hours of research, he receives a death certificate confirming the existence of Definode.

As soon as he informs Alix about this discovery, Mark writes an article on the subject, which he immediately posts on the Internet. Almost immediately, he gets a call from Yvonne Chalin, who is furious. Finding it odd that this document comes out just as suspicions of this fraud are being raised, the art critic accuses Mark of being an accomplice in the conspiracy. Although he respects her opinion, Mark wishes her a good day and then hangs up.

Meanwhile, Christian buys Definode’s artwork from Helen and Alix. Before leaving for Paris to sell them at his gallery, he promises Henne that he will return in a week to show other corners of the region that he particularly likes. Helen then kisses him and asks him to be careful on the road.

Later, Alix, Helen and Ulysses open a bottle of champagne to celebrate their success. Although Alix and Ulysses have the heart to celebrate, this is not the case for Helen, who fears that Christian will eventually realize that he has been deceived. According to Alix, she need not worry because she will get a lot of capital by selling the paintings. In turn, Ulysses advises him to stop torturing himself. Finally, the three end up toasting the money they just made.

Later, Bilal is visited by Ulysses, who tells him that he has started painting again. For the first time in a long time, he wanted to paint for himself. Delighted Ulysses passionately kisses Bilal.

After dark, Christian is on the phone with his partner and says everything went as planned. He then specifies that the paintings will be in the gallery during the week. A statement that clearly delights his interlocutor, who already sees himself hitting the holy jackpot. And if Christian does not hide his joy, he is above all proud of having achieved his goals. The best thing for him is that Helen and Alix did not suspect anything.

MÉLISSA sends everyone

Melissa doesn’t show up for work, much to the chagrin of Fabrice, the head of 101, who sets out to find a replacement. Inez then tries to convince him not to and then offers to go over to his house to see if he’s having trouble. After accepting, Fabrice informs him that he will have no other choice if it doesn’t work out.

Without waiting, Ines goes to a colleague’s house and discovers that he is depressed. He gives her the 250 euros he promised her, then asks her to get dressed to go to work. On the way to the bar, Ines takes the opportunity to ask Melissa about filming her. He may believe that everything was fine, Ines gets the impression that he is hiding something. So he wants to know if there was a problem with James. Annoyed, Melissa told him to stop imagining things. Only Ines is concerned and urges him to stop working with James. Melissa gets angry and criticizes him for standing up for his mother. Even though Ines tries to tell him that she just wants to help him, Melissa, who can’t stand thinking about him anymore, insists that she leave him alone.

Later, James is waiting for Melissa at the base of his building. Indeed, the photographer came to remind him that the contract he had signed required him to make a second video. An angry Melissa replies that she doesn’t want to do this again before going home.

On the other hand, Ines confides in her mother about the problems that Melissa is facing now. As she fears that James has offended her, Mo tells her that the young woman is not ready to talk yet and urges her daughter to be patient. The best way to help him is to be there for him and keep the relationship going without too much effort. Only then will he be ready to speak.

Not far from there, Melissa is in tears when she receives a call from Enzo. She angrily pleads with him to stop harassing her. Faced with his attitude, Enzo wants to know what’s going on. However, Melissa feels there is no need to make excuses, especially since they barely know each other, and then hangs up on her.

Worried, Enzo surrenders to Kira. According to him, his girlfriend was quite aggressive, which is not like him at all. Kira then thinks that maybe Melissa is mad about something that has nothing to do with her. Even if he doesn’t know anything about it, Enzo still thinks it doesn’t justify such behavior.
