On this occasion, after having retired to spend a pleasant retirement on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, Poirot comes across a new mystery to solve. Going (without much enthusiasm) to a seance in one of the city’s palaces, he witnesses the murder of another of the individuals gathered there.
