On Monday, March 6, everything starts here…
Axel discovers another lie from his uncle
Everyone at the institute is worried about Axel’s disappearance, including Clotilda and Rose. Unlike them, Louis is not ready to accept the young man as his half-brother. Above all, he suspects Teyssier of finding a way to corrupt the Armand clan.
In turn, Teissier harasses Jasmine to find out if she heard from Axel, but she still doesn’t. Annabelle takes the opportunity to mock her rival, accusing her of breaking her nephew, who has not forgiven her. But Tessier doesn’t budge.
Eventually, Jasmine and Ethan are reunited with Axel in the salt marshes, where he spends the weekend alone to think. He says that he went to the grave of Auguste Armand. But this whole story still seems unreal to him. Axel is still left with several unanswered questions about the circumstances of his birth, and the only person who can answer them is his uncle. So Ethan and Jasmine encourage her to go talk to him, even if he’s still mad at her.
Axel suddenly drops into his uncle’s office to ask him questions in hopes of getting the harsh truth. Emmanuel tells her in more detail: Lucy had just separated from Auguste when he learned of her pregnancy. And when she found out that he was already in a relationship with Claire, with whom he already had a son, Lucy chose not to tell him anything. After she knew she couldn’t raise him because of her cancer, Lucy looked for a way out. She didn’t want August to take care of her, nor did she want to entrust her son to social services.
Therefore, Emanuel offered him another arrangement: entrust Axel to close friends. After that, Emmanuel always respected Lucy’s promises to keep Axel’s true identity a secret. When the latter was left to Lola and Philip, Emmanuel recounts that he lost touch with Lucia, who went away and lived quietly in his final days. He learned about his death soon from his parents.
Meanwhile, at the atelier, Louis overhears Amber and Tommy commenting on Auguste Armani’s bastards. The professor quickly stops his lesson. He is joined by Claire, who admits to him that she did not know about the existence of another Armand son. Louis, who has built his entire identity on his association with Auguste Armand, questions himself. But his mother is there to remind him that he never needed his father to succeed as an ambitious and demanding chef.
Later, Axel finds Theo, who supports him. When Axel shows his cousin a photo of his biological mother, he feels he recognizes her. He remembers that he saw it ten years ago, he left the house crying. But when she questioned her father, he shouted back that it was none of his business.
Back home, Axel confronts Emanuel about his secondary lie in the presence of Constance, Lola and Philip. Teissier finally admits that Lucy knocked on his door ten years ago because she had changed her mind and wanted to see her son. He stopped her to keep her out of trouble, which Axel feels is deeply unfair. The young man declares that he no longer wants to see his uncle, whom he accuses of ruining everything…
Theo enjoys cooking for Anais
At Double A, Theo tells Jude that he’s not disappointed with the end of his lunchbox exchange. On the contrary, he is very happy to finally know the identity of the secret cook. And since Anais is in a relationship with Lisandro, the seduction game doesn’t stop, allowing Theo to come out of the fantasy.
Later, Theo meets Anais at the cashier and offers to work with her on a new dessert for the Double A menu. The young girl accepts with pleasure. Observing them, Salome discovers that Theo is taking the opportunity to flirt with his best friend. But Anais is sure that there is no uncertainty between them. And if necessary, it is ready for cultivation.
At Double A, Anais takes advantage of the break to join Lisandro, but she falls for her answering machine. Joining her, Theo notices that something is bothering her and invites her to confide in him. In need of news from her companion, Anais admits that she is beginning to think. Theo helps him put things into perspective, then offers to help with a Studel recipe for his class with Listrac.
In the studio, Anais shares with Theo her idea to revisit the famous Alsatian brioche. The latter believes that this is enough soothing dough in itself and offers to work on the original accompaniment. After mentioning the idea of coulis, then ice cream, Anais had the idea to add jasmine to her brioche.
Theo takes advantage of this moment of complicity to reassure Anais and promise not to judge her based on how she feels about her relationship. He tells her some funny anecdotes about the time he lived when he was in a relationship with Celia, who, he admits, exerted a sort of spell over him that drove him crazy. At the same time, Lisandro calls Anais, who happily takes her by the hand.
Deva strengthens her relationship with David due to a misunderstanding
Before the lesson starts, Deva notices that David has his nose buried in his notebook and asks about it. The latter explains to him that he is working on a Dali recipe for the Listrak course. Perfectly mastering this traditional Indian dish because of its origins, Deva begins showering it with advice.
But David replies that he prefers to work alone, without outside help. Fascinated by this unusual good student side in her lover, Deva keeps her in her room to make love. What is her surprise when David refuses her proposal in favor of his work.
During the Listrac course, each first-year student is paired with a third-year student as a clerk. David, along with Lionel, presents his plate to the chef. Despite the classic side, she notes that her recipe works well.
At the end of the course, however, David expresses frustration at what he has let go. He wanted their teacher to be more demanding in order to improve. Elliot and Lionel tease him about it. At the same time, Deva overhears them talking about BDSM relationships.
After working at Double A, Deva confides in Kelly what she heard. Since then, Deva is convinced that David is bored in her bed and that he would be the type to hit on. When asked by Kelly what she thinks of him, Deva admits that she would be willing to try certain things to see if he likes her.
Later, David gets out of the shower and joins Deva in the dressing room. As usual, she teases him by throwing a wet towel in his face. While she is dressed, Deva grabs a towel to hit her buttocks. The young man is surprised, but admits that he liked it. A little embarrassed, Deva puts her things down and waits outside.
