“Everything and everywhere at the same time”: where to see the film nominated for 11 Oscars

Racking up awards, such as the Critics Choice Awards, “Everything in Every Place at the Same Time” is one of the most acclaimed suspense films of 2023, so much so that it is in the running for 11 Oscar statuettes (see the full list here).

Nominations include Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress. American opera also mixes science fiction with comedic tones.

In the work is the exploration of the multiverse – which emerged in the Marvel films, but which had already been explored extensively in the comics, for example. The multiverse enters the plot when the protagonist – Evelyn Quan (Michelle Yeoh) – arrives in the United States with her husband and her son in search of a new life.

However, when checked by the local IRS, she discovers that there are several versions just like her, but with different lives. So, she will have to join her other lives to stop a powerful villain from taking over the world. In the process, she explores her other lives, but becomes trapped and struggles to get home.
