Movie quiz: Which number is missing from this movie poster?

7 or 8? That’s the question I’m going to ask you today because many movies have one of these two numbers in the title.

For example, Brad Pitt – who we had the pleasure of seeing in 1997’s Jean-Jacques Anna under the direction of Jean-Jacques Anna – gave an honorary César award to his co-director David Fincher during the ceremony last week. He played Austrian mountaineer Heinrich Harrer, the first winner of Elger’s North, who receives Nazi money to conquer Nanga Parbat, an unspoiled Himalayan peak.

In 2009, Will Smith starred in Seven Lives as Ben Thomas, who seeks redemption by radically changing the lives of seven people he doesn’t know. He then puts his plan into action, not foreseeing that he will fall in love with one of the target people and that he will transform her.

And in a particular register, certain films, often in the domain of horror and fantasy, were so successful that they spawned franchises that sometimes reached ten episodes!

For example, we can cite Friday the 13th, whose seventh and eighth chapters were released in 1988 and 1989 respectively. Discover number 6, in theaters March 8.
