How does Diego Luna feel about ‘Andor’ ending after its second season on Disney+?

The actor has recognized that it will be something positive for his mental health.

The leading actor of ‘Andor’, Diego Luna, has opened up about the end of the second season of the series.

This project, born from ‘Star Wars’, instead of prolonging its trajectory, will complete its story arc in just two batches. This, while disappointing to some, has made the star of the series happy.

Luna, who plays Cassian Andor, has revealed that ending after 24 episodes will be “good for my mental health“.

This is the last season of ‘Andor’“, Luna shared with Variety. “It will be a two-season series. It will be positive for my mental health. Knowing that it is the end, I want to enjoy it and make the best of this experience.

Cassian’s story was intended to end with what happened in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.

“What this character does in ‘Rogue One’ is pretty important. What we are building now shows what has to happen in someone’s life to be willing to sacrifice everything“, he commented.

“For me, this has always been a story where the people who make the change, those you can call heroes are normal people doing extraordinary things“.

The second season will take a while to arrive. Luna himself previously stated: “You will have to wait a bit [para la segunda temporada] because each season is like four movies. It takes time“.

The only thing I can promise is that we will do it with the same respect, rigor, intensity and energy. We are not going to rush. That is the beauty of this series. It’s only two seasons, and we can try to deliver something just as good or better.”

‘Andor’ has its first season available on streaming on Disney+.
