Is the fourth installment of ‘Creed’ confirmed?
Adonis Creed took over from Rocky Balboa And now, after 9 films in the saga, the student has become the teacher… And he’s thinking about retiring. Will we see him pass the baton to a new boxer?
In ‘Creed III’ we see Adonis in a new phase of his life: retirement. Of course, as in all the ‘Rocky’ movies, retirement isn’t forever, and before long, Adonis returns to the ring to settle old scores from his past. Damian, an old childhood friend who has now come out of a long stint in prison, has a few things to tell him in the ring.
The director and protagonist of ‘Creed 3’, Michael B Jordansaid in February that “Building the universe of Creed is something that I am very excited about” and that “‘Creed 4’ is a sure thing“, leaving the door open even to possible spin-offs that expand the universe of the franchise.
‘Creed 4’, Synopsis
How would you connect the synopsis of ‘Creed 4’ with the ending of ‘Creed 3’? We need to talk about…
— SPOILERS for ‘Creed III’ —

The emotional core of the conflict between Adonis and Damian stems from their past.. The two lived together in a foster home run by a man who abuses youth. One day, Adonis spots him outside a market and beats him up, his friends mug him, and Damian comes to the rescue, brandishing a gun, just as the police arrive. Adonis flees and Damian is caught and convicted, parting ways with him.
When it comes time to fight, their physical aspects are not entirely uneven. Damian is older but Adonis retired a few years ago so he is out of shape and they are evenly matched when it comes to boxing.
However, when they get into the ring, the fight feels less about physical strength and more about the emotional backpack of both. Ultimately, Adonis wins, but the real victory is that both forgive each other in a brief conversation after the fight.
That’s the last we see of Damian, but that’s not to say he won’t be back.

As for Adonis, he now has the World Heavyweight Championship belt back. But what does that mean for the future? Well, it means that, at some point, Adonis will have to fight someone or he will lose the belt. And while that is a possibility, it seems unlikely.
Most likely, a fourth movie will bypass the possession of the belt entirely, as happened in the jump from ‘Creed II’ to ‘Creed III’. Maybe because Jordan doesn’t want to show Adonis losing…
Regardless, we know that the future of the Creed universe is vast and The possibility that we will see Adonis back in the ring is not completely ruled out.
‘Creed 4’, Cast
Whether it is to fight or to train a new boxer, whatever It is certain that Michael B. Jordan has to return as Adonis Creed. And, surely, he will also return behind the cameras after the good result of his journey as director of the third installment.

Those who will not return will be Sylvester Stallonefurious over the rights to Rocky because of the franchise’s producer Irwin Winkler, and Adonis’ mother, Mary (Phylicia Rashad)who died from a stroke near the end of ‘Creed 3’.
Those who could (and should) be back, apart from Jordan, are Bianca (Tessa Thompson) and Amara (mila davis kent) and, why not, the ex-rivals of Adonis Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors, Marvel’s Kang) and Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), although we would have to look for a new enemy in the ring that was up to the task if we want to see Creed putting on his gloves again.
‘Creed 4’, Release date
Although Michael B. Jordan has taken the new installment of the saga for granted, the truth is that the studio has yet to officially confirm ‘Creed 4’so there is still no release date set on the calendar.
