Alcyr Ramos da Silva Júnior was elected president of the Palmeiras Deliberative Council for the next two years. The new commander of the body beat Carlos Antônio Faedo, representative of the opposition, by 163 votes against 103. There were also three blank ballots. Roberto Silva, who called himself an independent candidate, renounced his candidacy hours before the election and supported Faedo.
In a parallel vote, Maurício Camargo, who also represented the situation, was elected vice president. He beat Felipe Giocondo, opposition candidate, by 163 votes to 97, with nine blank votes.
