The Vasco Deliberative Council has been convened for a meeting on March 14, at 7 pm, at the Sede Náutica so that President Jorge Salgado and the other members of the board of directors provide clarifications on the membership program.
In the notice of call, the chairman of the resolution, Renato Brito Neto, asks the board to clarify the reasons for which the possibility of effective members to accumulate supporting members was interrupted. This is because the revenues could be different: the first going to the association club and the second to the Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF).
Previously, statutory members could accrue the supporter plan. To do this, it was enough to add R$ 70 to the monthly fee to benefit from the “Colina Mais” plan. In this sense, the vice president of communications, Danilo Bento, is also asked to explain whether there are ongoing negotiations with Saf, to take up this hypothesis.
The chairman of the board also asks for explanations from the club as an aid association so that statutory members have more convenience in purchasing tickets. Furthermore, he asks the board to justify the possible presence of contractual constraints that prevent the accumulation of plans from being maintained.
In the event of all negative answers, the representative asks the shareholders to explain whether the statutory shareholders of Vasco will have the right to adhere to any supporter plan and, moreover, whether there is study in courses for the elaboration of a different plan for the category, since the employees of the “Sócio Gigante” program deny the possibility because it is the same CPF. The CEO of SAF do Vasco, Luiz Mello, was also invited to attend the meeting to provide clarifications.
