David Harbor Confirms When ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Begins Filming For Netflix

The end of ‘Stranger Things’ is getting closer.

    The fans are one step closer to returning to the Upside Down World. The fifth season of ‘Stranger Things’ is being asked, and there is still no set release date. But one of the stars of the series has given us a ray of hope. David Harbor has confirmed the start date of filming for the fifth season of ‘Stranger Things’one of the most watched series on Netflix and one of the best series of 2022.

    The actor who plays Officer Jim Hopper made the announcement at Middle East Film & Comic Con this weekend in Abu Dhabi, and has made no secret of his feelings regarding the final days of the Netflix series. The feeling is bittersweet, but he feels that it is “time for it to end”. Here’s what Harbor had to say about the start of filming and what we can expect from Hopper in the final season of ‘Stranger Things’:

    “Season 5 is coming up, but I still have a couple more months to train. We start filming it in June, and that will be the last season. I trained a lot for season 4. He [Hopper] I was in a very difficult position, in a Russian prison. It was about turning him into a different guy and stripping him of a physical, mental and emotional layer of himself. But now he’s back in town, he’s back in America, where they have cheeseburgers, so he’ll be well fed.”

    Harbor revealed little in terms of plot, though it’s a relief to be reminded of Hopper’s return to the States. As the actor noted, his character spent most of the fourth season in a Russian prison. Seeing Hopper reunited with Joyce (Winona Ryder) and his adopted daughter, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), was one of the most exciting moments of the finale of season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’.
