And if that’s true, does that mean I’m going to look bad?” But, as so often happens, that line turned out to be just a trailer line and didn’t make the final cut.

Wanda, Strange and America need to leave their loved ones behind. Can you talk about this side track that the three of you were playing with your loved ones?

All three characters deal with loss, and Wanda deals with it more visually than anyone else. Strange also talks about how he lost and then has to say goodbye to Christine. [Rachel McAdams] At end. And the whole story of American descent is the loss of your parents. So they’re all broken characters trying to find their way in this world, but the biggest difference between the three is that Darhold won over Wanda in this particular story.
