It’s called OQEE cine, an acronym for “where you want, when you want” and the last two letters free. Because it really is the phone giant that launched its streaming platform with much fanfare on March 7, offering 300 programs that you can watch without limits.
This free offer logically only applies to subscribers. It is available through your TV or smartphone after downloading a special application (see Here is a list of compatible support).
OQEE Ciné is coming to all Freebox subscribers! 🎬
Your subscription includes more than 300 movies and series, unlimited viewing at any time 🍿

Attention, if this new feature is free, there is still an analogue: it is offered with advertising, to finance the model. The offer already offers Netflix (Essentiel) for 5.99e/month.
You won’t find the latest titles in the catalog provided by OQEE either, most of them are from the 90s-2000s. The platform mainly relies on family blockbusters (Limitless, xXx, Godzilla, Hellboy…) to balance the few series that are currently available (for example, Taken, A Very English Scandal and Pan Am).

The homepage is also reminiscent of other streaming platforms (Netflix, Disney, etc.). There is no risk that OQEE will compete with them because its operating model is different at the moment. Free has not announced its desire to produce its own programs.
