Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Friday March 10, 2023 [SPOILERS]

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil that airs tomorrow night on France 2! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read!

Friday, March 10, 2023, on such a big sun…

Florent agrees to protect Melissa

At the police station, James is questioned by Aya and Manu and they confirm that he was the one who took the video of Melissa. After explaining how he recruited Melissa, James assures us that the latter knew perfectly well that he was going to shoot with three men, because it was stipulated in his contract. While Aya points out to him that Melissa looks terrified in the video, James replies that it was part of the script before explaining that the violence is faked to excite the customers.

James then explains that Melissa was tipped off before the shooting and that she’s lying to get money out of them. When Manu mentions the €3,000 he’s asking for to remove the video, James replies that it’s business. For Manu, it’s more like blackmail and then he asks for the names of the other participants in the video. Only, James refuses citing a privacy clause that prevents him from doing so. Although James emerges free from this interrogation, he must still remain at the disposal of justice.

Later, Becker, Manu and Aya report on the investigation. At this point, the police have no evidence to prove that Melissa was raped. As is often the case, Becker isn’t exactly surprised and knows full well that James will be hard to topple. Refusing to close the case, Aya wants to question the men in the video. Even if the faces were a blur, Manu noticed Melissa’s tattoo on the thigh of one of the bullies. While looking at other pornographic videos from the same site, the officer also noticed that this individual appeared in other videos of the same style. That’s why he wants to interview director Tresson, the host of these famous videos. So Commissioner Becker gave him approval.

Meanwhile, Melissa meets Florent, who has agreed to protect her. A young woman on the verge of tears tells him her story, going back to the gruesome details of the rape. Disturbed by the hearing, the lawyer vows that those responsible will be punished and the video will be quickly removed from circulation. Grateful, Melissa thanks him.

At the end of the appointment, Florent meets Claudine, who tries to find out if this is a new client. Florenti confirms this and adds that this is a pro bono case. When the lawyer asks if it’s stealing lipstick from a supermarket, Florenti says it’s a gang-rape on camera and that he agreed to protect her for free so her life wouldn’t be completely ruined. Uncomfortable, Claudine states that she did well before specifying that she would do the same. After all, he’s not the monster everyone thinks he is.

At the police station, Manu can no longer watch Treson’s pornographic videos and tries to contain his anger at the violence of the images. Alex then advises him to take a break to clear his mind.

At nightfall, Melissa joins Enzo in the hut. After thanking him for talking to her father, she begins to cry and confides how ashamed she is. Enzo assures that he has nothing to blame and then promises that the attackers will pay for what they did to him.

Tom starts his tig at NOÉMIE FARM

Tom begins his community service at Noemi’s farm. And how much to say that the teenager is not really excited by this idea. While Ludo and Noemi greet him, Tom wants to know how he’s going to get home while his sister is at work. Not discouraged by the teenager’s lack of motivation, Noemi points out that buses leave every hour before taking him to the owner.

Noemi and Ludo then explain to Tom that he will be responsible for cleaning the boxes and giving the horses hay and water. Only Tom doesn’t listen to them and prefers to read his messages on the phone. After Naomi informs her that she is there for work, Tom apologizes to her.

In turn, Akim informs Gary that Tom is doing his TIG at the equestrian center. An announcement that delights Gary, who has a feeling it has changed the teenager’s destiny forever.

At the end of the day, Tom finds Jonas in the garage where he works. Because he needs money, Tom asks his friend to put him on the plan. He then advises her to shut up and pay her debt to society before giving her money while she waits for their next move.

Johanna has no intention of letting go

Ian and Hugo are playing basketball. Faced with his friend’s good mood, the medical examiner imagines that he has met a new woman. Realizing that it is Johanna, Hugo says that he is very happy for her.

Later, Ian and Johanna are walking on the beach. Happy to see her go down the slope, Ian kisses her forehead. Although Claudine was able to raise suspicions, Johanna is not going to let it go. In other words, the great Johanna is back!

A few steps away, Claudine is having dinner with Alix. The lawyer had the opportunity to tell him about his relationship with Johanna and to say that he really didn’t appreciate that his colleague had put him in his place the day before. However, the most important thing today is that there is as little tension as possible in the cabinet.
