2023 will also offer the release of several suites of this franchise, which was born in the last decades. This Wednesday, we were already able to discover the sixth installment in the Scream saga, which began in 1996 by director Wes Craven.

Another franchise returning this year is Saw, with the tenth film in the series slated for release on October 23. The producer announced the return of Tobin Bell as the creepy puzzle killer who was the focus of the first three films before being killed off and later reappearing in flashbacks.

Not really a sequel, but the remake with Evil Dead Rise, which hits our screens on April 19, takes on the world of Sam Raimi’s 1981 film that became a cult hit. In this fifth film in the franchise, this time Bette and her sister Ellie have the misfortune of discovering a book of undead awakening demonic powers that attack their family.
