The first black Panther It was a success. What were you particularly proud of in your impact?
It was great to see the outpouring of pride, of representation, of being seen. And seeing the audience introduce themselves in a way you never see in movies, dressed up as kings and queens! There was so much excitement for this movie. It was like water in a desert.
What do you like most about the role of Queen Ramonda?
Taking care of people is its essence. And as the mother of T’Challa and Shuri, she is that maternal instinct, that glue that holds the family together. This strength, this grace, this shoulder to lean on. And in this film, she wears not only for herself and her daughter, but for her people as well. Since her her husband is gone, then her son, she has to take this job…
