The release date for Philip Lasho’s comedy, Alibi.com 2, has just been announced, along with a synopsis and new cast names.

Philip Lasho’s comedy Alibi.com, released in our cinemas in February 2017, was a real success with over 3.6 million appearances. In the feature film, Lacheau played Greg, the head of the agency that provides all sorts of alibis to his clients. But his meeting with Floss (Elodie Fontaine) will turn his life upside down, especially when he realizes that his father is one of his clients …

Gad Elmale and Alexandra Lami at the casting!

Considering the success, a sequel was quickly announced, still being pursued by Philip Lasho, Elodie Fontaine, Tarek Budall, Julien Arut, Didier Bourdon and Natalie By. The latter will be joined by Gerard Junot, Ariel Dombasle, Alexandra Lamy and Gad Elmale in as yet uncertain roles.

Release 6 years after the first film

Filming of this second opus begins today in the Paris region, in cinemas scheduled for February 8, 2023, or 6 years after the release of the first film.

At Alibi.com 2, Greg closed his agency and promised Floss that he would never cheat on her again. He finds his new life too quiet. But not for long! When he decides to propose to Flo, Greg stands by the wall and has to decide to meet the family.

But with his cheating father and his ex-charming movie-star mother, there is a high probability that he will ruin his future connection. So he has no choice but to reopen his agency with his former accomplices for the final alibi and find more prominent false parents …
