A 2-year-old girl died with signs of violence in Guaratiba, west of Rio de Janeiro. According to the Civil Police, the child’s father and stepmother were arrested in the act on Thursday the 9th, suspected of the murder.
The arrest took place after a doctor reported that the girl had been hospitalized in a health unit, already dead, and with “serious signs of violence”. The police officers went to the hospital and, after finding the injuries, forwarded the suspects to the police station.
