Flamengo leads the world club rankings and Palmeiras lose second place to Real

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) released a new version of its world club rankings on Friday. Flamengo continues at the top of the list, while Palmeiras lost the vice leadership to Real Madrid.




Under the leadership of Vítor Pereira, Flamengo had a disastrous start to the season, marred by disappointments in the Brazilian Super Cup, the Club World Cup, the Recopa Sudamericana and even the carioca league. Even so, he leads with 313 points, five more than Real Madrid.
