Cod pasta to differentiate the weekend menu

Good pasta is the face of the weekend, right? But if you’re avoiding meat because of Lent, then cod paste is the right choice perfect option for your lunch!




Easily available in supermarkets, this fish is a year-round consumption option. In addition to being a very tasty and versatile fish, cod is also rich in protein, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, Omega 3, vitamins A, E, B6 and B12.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of spaghetti (500g)
  • 100 g grated parmesan

Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 500 g of desalted cod, cooked in chips
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cans of tomato sauce
  • 1 cup of chopped green olives
  • Salt and chopped parsley to taste
  • 1/2 box of cream (100g)

Method of preparation:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  2. For the sauce, heat a pan over medium heat with the oil and sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the cod, tomato and sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the tomato sauce, olives, salt and green odor and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cream, mix and turn off the heat.
  6. Mix with the cooked pasta and pour into a large bowl.
  7. Decorate with the hard-boiled eggs, sprinkle with the grated Parmesan and bake in a preheated medium oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove and serve.
